BRADENTON, Fla. — Sept. 9, 2025 — Garcia Public Relations, a values-driven communications firm serving nonprofits, leaders and changemakers across the Suncoast, announced the formation of its inaugural advisory board. The group of powerhouse community leaders will provide strategic guidance and support as GARCIA expands its impact across the region.

“I am humbled by the willingness and vision of these four leaders to join GARCIA — a firm founded on the belief that all people matter, that all residents of Manatee-Sarasota deserve clarity, trust and timeliness in the information they receive,” said Francis García, founder and CEO of GARCIA. “I have known the leaders below for years, and they have served as my mentors. They have dedicated their lives to positive change, and I am confident GARCIA is a place for more of just that.”

The inaugural advisory board members are

Evelyn Almodóvar is the executive director of UnidosNow and has lived and worked in Manatee County for nearly a decade as a nonprofit leader and consultant. Born to Puerto Rican parents and raised in the Caribbean, she developed a passion for advancing equitable access to resources that help communities thrive. She holds a master’s degree in public administration with a focus on social innovation from Post University and is pursuing a doctorate in public administration at Northcentral University. Her career spans corporate strategy, nonprofit support, policy analysis and international consulting. She has led national initiatives expanding wellness services to more than one million patients and directed a multi-island Caribbean project addressing food insecurity and farmland preservation. Locally, she serves on the boards of Junior Leadership Manatee, Emerge SRQ and the Manasota Re-Entry Project, and she founded TEDxBradenton and The Zen Barn Bradenton.

Patricia Courtois has led brand communications, community relations and corporate philanthropy for major consumer brands, including Beatrice Foods, Sara Lee and Tropicana. She later served as CEO of Clarke Advertising and C-Suite Communications, guiding organizations through growth and transformation. Courtois is board chair of All Faiths Food Bank and serves on the boards of Florida Studio Theatre and HCA Doctors Hospital of Sarasota. She previously chaired Senior Friendship Centers and has served on the American Association of Advertising Agencies Florida board of governors, its Women CEO Forum, the Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota County, the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, the Sarasota County Tourism and Economic Development Board and the United Way Women’s Initiative Leadership Council.

Josephine Eisenberg has more than 25 years of experience in nonprofit advancement and consulting. She has held leadership roles in program development for youth initiatives, advancement offices and fundraising campaigns throughout the Manatee-Sarasota nonprofit sector. Since 2015, Eisenberg has led her own consulting practice, Eisenberg Strategy, supporting local, regional and national organizations as well as foundations and higher education institutions. Her client work includes collaborations with The Patterson Foundation on initiatives such as Margin and Mission Ignition, Advancing Mission Thrivability and Fueling Dynamic Fundraising. Other recent clients include CreArte Latino Cultural Center and the Cross College Alliance. Eisenberg earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from Jacksonville University and is pursuing a master’s degree in philanthropic studies at Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.

Daniel Kuether is the founder and CEO of Electd.io, a digital platform designed to help down-ballot candidates run competitive campaigns. A former chair of the Sarasota County Democratic Party, Kuether created the platform after seeing how passionate candidates often lacked the tools, resources and support available to larger campaigns. Before launching Electd, Kuether built a career in product design, creating user-centered solutions for startups and organizations. His design background informs Electd’s mission to make campaigning simple and effective for everyday people stepping into public service. Kuether is pursuing a dual master’s in business administration and design leadership at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School and the Maryland Institute College of Art.

Together, these four advisors bring expertise, leadership and trusted perspectives to guide GARCIA’s mission to elevate voices, strengthen communities and move people to action.

“When we break barriers of place, language and the mind, we can create change, we can save lives and build community,” said García. “Thank you for joining me in this effort.”
